Congratulations on your new position and welcome to your new school and to the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) system. With 160 schools, both Overseas and Stateside, serving military-connected children, DoDEA is quite unlike any other school system in the United States.

This guide serves to introduce new educators to DoDEA, particularly to work and life in the Stateside Region of DoDEA and Guam.
