A reminder that DoDEA’s online application for the Overseas Excess Placement Program, available at https://intranet.ds.dodea.edu/ExcessPlacement/login/login_teacher.cfm, closes today (February 28).
All Overseas Excess employees in FEA’s bargaining unit should complete the application by 5pm ET February 28 in order to list your preferences for location placements and teaching categories.
FEA members are encouraged to take advantage of our verification service by sending a PDF copy of your final submitted application to FEA staffer Bobby Forristal at [email protected]. PDFs that are received by noon ET March 1 will be compiled for use by FEA President Brian Chance at the Excess placement round taking place March 2-4. Brian will use those submitted PDFs to confirm the accuracy of members’ information being used during the placement round.
Notices of Excess placements are expected to begin going out to employees on or around March 7.
