Awaiting Overseas Retro Pay UPDATE

DoDEA announces target date for payment.
Published: June 5, 2024

As the school year draws to a close, Overseas members are still awaiting payment by the government of the retroactive pay adjustment FEA won for them, to bring their pay to the level currently owed to them under the SY 23-24 salary schedules that were finalized in April.

In answer to FEA’s questions about the status of the retro pay adjustment, here is the most recent response from DoDEA’s Labor Management/Employee Relations department:

“We were informed today that the SY 2023-24 pay tables are currently pending an upload by DCPAS, there was an issue with the initial attempt to process the Pay Adjustment action (894). At this time, we anticipate the retro could be June 14 or as late as June 28.”

FEA will continue to monitor the process until payment is properly made to eligible employees.
