posted September 13, 2018
The Federal Service Impasses Panel has concluded to assert jurisdiction over all disputed issues involving contract negotiations of the FEA SR MLA. To resolve these disputes the Panel has designated using an Informal Conference to be conducted by a panel member. FEA SR will be able to present our proposals to the panel member. During this process FEA SR will attempt to explore opportunities for settlement. However, throughout the bargaining process, the agency has yet to demonstrate a good faith effort to reach a bilateral resolution of the disputed provisions.
This Informal Conference will be sometime in late October in Washington DC.
FEA SR will keep membership updated with information about proceedings involving the MLA.
Thank you to all of our members and friends who stood strong and sent letters to DoDEA Director Thomas Brady and to those who signed the petition. Mr. Brady was given an opportunity to lead DoDEA in fair contact negotiations and he failed. He still has not responded to any of our emails.
Continue to stand strong in solidarity!
