RA BOSTON 2017


The FEA Annual Membership Meeting will take place June 29-30, 2017, at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. The NEA Representative Assembly will take place June 30-July 5 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Learn more about the NEA RA here.




FEA Annual Membership Meeting Info

The FEA Annual Membership Meeting is open to ALL Association members, Active or Retired. No registration is necessary, though anyone planning to attend is asked to inform FEA staffer Gary Hritz (ghritz@nea.org) so we can be sure to have adequate seating.
The FEA Annual Membership Meeting will take place in the Fairfax A&B rooms on the third floor of the Sheraton Boston, 39 Dalton Street. Meetings times are:

June 29, 2017 - 8am-5pm
June 30, 2017 - 8am-1pm

JUNE 28

FEA HCR Program's Minority Affairs Committee (MAC) Meeting & Diversity Training

This meeting/training session has become a highlight of the FEA Annual Membership Meeting and a fantastic kickoff event. Join FEA Human & Civil Rights Coordinator Alina Rozanski and a cadre of trainers from NEA as they present an entertaining and enlightening program centered around issues of diversity and how we address/respond to them.
The training will begin at 6:30pm in the Sheraton Boston's Apropos room (lobby level) and there will be a light buffet of soup, salad and sandwiches available beforehand, starting at 5:30pm. (FEA delegates and Association members only please, no family or guests)


JUNE 29

AFSPA RECEPTION

The American Foreign Service Protective Association (AFSPA) will host a reception for FEA members from 6-8pm in the Apropos room of the Sheraton Boston. Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served. Family members and guests are invited to attend.


JULY 1

NEA HUMAN AND CIVIL RIGHTS AWARDS

Truly a highlight of any delegate's NEA-RA experience, the NEA Human & Civil Rights Awards Program is a formal/black-tie optional dinner and celebration of individuals who have made outstanding contributions/achievements in the field of human and civil rights. NEA will provide bus transportation between our hotel and the HCR Awards, which will take place at the Boston Convention Center (the same site as the NEA-RA)
