The FEA Annual Membership Meeting will take place June 30 and July 1 at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel. The NEA Representative Assembly will take place July 2-6 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Learn more about the NEA RA here.

FEA Annual Membership Meeting Info

The FEA Annual Membership Meeting is open to ALL Association members, Active or Retired. No registration is necessary, though anyone planning to attend is asked to inform FEA staffer Gary Hritz ( so we can be sure to have adequate seating.
The FEA Annual Membership Meeting will take place in the Athens Room of the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, 165 Courtland St. NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. Meetings times are:

June 30, 2020 - 8am-5pm
July 1, 2020 - 8am-1pm

FEA HCR Program's Minority Affairs Committee (MAC) Meeting & Diversity Training

This meeting/training session has become a highlight of the FEA Annual Membership Meeting and a fantastic kickoff event. Join the FEA Human & Civil Rights Coordinator and a cadre of trainers from NEA as they present an entertaining and enlightening program centered around issues of diversity and how we address/respond to them.
The training will begin at 6:30pm in the Sheraton Atlanta's Augusta Room (FEA delegates and Association members only please, no family or guests)



The American Foreign Service Protective Association (AFSPA) will host a reception for FEA members from 6-8pm in the Augusta Room of the Sheraton Atlanta. Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served. Family members and guests are invited to attend.



Truly a highlight of any delegate's NEA-RA experience, the NEA Human & Civil Rights Awards Program is a celebration of individuals who have made outstanding contributions/achievements in the field of human and civil rights. NEA will provide bus transportation between hotels and the HCR Awards Program which will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center (the same site as the NEA-RA.


NEA GLBT Caucus Dinner

Every year at the NEA-RA, the NEA GLBT Caucus host a special evening that includes dinner, dancing, guest speakers and recognition of the work of members and educators for the civil and human rights of our members and students. Michael Priser has purchased 2 tables (20 tickets) for our State Caucus (FEA). This event will be attended by nearly 1000 educators. This year the Dinner will be on the evening of Saturday, July 6, at the Hilton Americas Houston Hotel. The cost of ticket will be $75/person (same as in past years). The event usually sells out.
