FSIP TAKES JURISDICTION OF STATESIDE CONTRACT

The Federal Service Impasses Panel, comprised entirely of Trump appointees, has asserted jurisdiction over all disputed sections of the contract being negotiated between FEA's Stateside Region and DoDEA for Stateside schools.

The next step will be to have FEA-SR and DoDEA meet with a member of the FSIP for an informal conference in mid to late October to see if the two sides can settle their differences over the contract.

Should settlement not occur, the two parties would present evidence and testimony in support of their contract proposals to the FSIP member, who will report that information to the full FSIP, along with recommending action for the FSIP to take. The panel will then issue its decision and order on what should be included in the final contract.
